Protect your property from birds and debris with our Cross-Weave mesh netting. Compliant with NFPA 701, it features a reinforced edging and is UV treated. Ideal for small mesh anti-bird, hail protection, fence barrier, debris catch, and paintball perimeter fence. Available in black, blue, or red. Our Cross-Weave mesh features a series of "primary" mesh rows, with additional cross weave stitches throughout.
A Safety Alert (dates 17/8/18) from Safe Work NSW alerts users to the fire hazards associated with containment netting or equivalent used in the construction industry, and the measures that should be implemented to control the associated risks.
Recently a serious fire developed on a building remediation site when containment netting fixed to multi-storey scaffolding ignited. The fire resulted in the deployment of emergency services and required the evacuation of personnel from the work site and building.
The containment netting involved in the incident was manufactured from polyurethane (PE) with fiberglass re-enforced banding. A fire retardance substance was not included in its manufacture. Whilst fire hazard properties have not been tested, it has been observed that the material is highly flammable.
This item provides compliance with NFPA 701: Standard Methods of Fire Tests for Flame Propagation of Textiles and Films.

The benefit of the cross-weave design is to allow the mesh size to be reduced, whilst keeping weight and overall shade creation to a minimum.
This netting features a REINFORCED 40mm edging along the long sides of the net.
