Bird Netting Instructions

Our 12Ply High Density Polyethylene Knotted Netting is a 1st Grade, light weight, high strength netting suitable for permanent Pond / Bird / Duck Control installations. The 12Ply, large mesh size & Black colour design ensures the netting is very unobtrusive.

This netting is simple and efficient to work with. Being a square mesh design, it can significantly reduce installation times and labor costs. This netting won't pull or stretch in either direction, which allows for precise installations in warehouses and factories. It's hard wearing properties also make this netting an ideal choice for use as a pond, pool or boat covering netting.

it worked to deter the ducks from our pool but we had to hook the net on the pool fence off the ground closing off the pool area because they were still landing when it was lying in the water. so there is no more poo in and around the pool.

No more ducks

We have a backyard swimming pool which we love - however so too do the local bird life. We don’t mind sharing with some birds, however recently a pair of wild ducks started to frequent the pool - always after dusk and in the early morning. They were leaving duck poo everywhere in the water and around the edges (we couldn’t believe two birds could produce so much). After many mornings spent cleaning up the mess and trying a range of other duck deterrents (none of which worked well), and having heard many tales of woe about ducks in pools from others who have the same issues, we bought some 60mm square 12 ply bird exclusion netting from QUATRA to put over our swimming pool (it is stretched on top of the fence so the whole pool area is netted off) to stop the ducks from entering. Works like a charm. After a couple of failed attempts to get to the pool area the ducks seem to have got the message and we haven’t seen them for the last week. We will keep it in place for a while to make sure. Highly recommended product.
