I’ve just replaced all the white netting over my fruit trees with black knotted bird netting. What a difference that makes! My garden no longer looks like it’s permanently dressed for Halloween. I can see all the new shoots and buds clearly and the garden feels so much more relaxed.

I have now purchased two of the 7m telescopic poles from Haverford. They perform well and seem quite sturdy. I use mine holding up wire antennas for amateur radio.I recommend these as the price is reasonable and the service from Haverford is good.

Fabulous netting with a good-sized aperture to allow pollinators through while keeping birds out. Netting is reasonably sturdy & doesn't tear as easily as other nets that I've used. Delivery was excellent considering we are remote. Have purchased 3 nets 10x10m & will likely purchase some more for the rest of the fruit trees next year.
